Abstract:
Incompletely combustion of coal is a usual and unavoidable thing in coal-fired power plants, and there's always some certain amount of CO existing in theflue gas. For the purpose of studying the effect of CO on the removals of NO_x,SO_2 from flue gas and understanding the mechanism of some reactions taking placein the process, plenty of experiments are made with electron beam irradiation. The experimental results show that a small amount of CO in the flue gas is help-ful for removals of NO_x and SO_2. The removals of NO_x, SO_2 are increased from80% to 85%, 67% to 85% respectively with no CO and with 1% of CO at thedose of 15kGy.
