Abstract:
Based on the experimental database of convective heat transfer in tube at supercritical pressure, different scaling laws for supercritical heat transfer were studied. A modified Cheng et al.’s scaling law was proposed and validated via experimental data. The results show that the modified Cheng et al.’s scaling law has a higher degree of accuracy, while adopting the exponents of Zhou Qiangtai’s correlation and average properties in Prandtl number, and heat transfer scalings of different supercritical fluids agree well.
