MEASUREMENTS OF NEUTRON TEMPERATURE AND EPITHERMAL INDEX IN HIGH ENRICHED URANIUM HEAVY WATER ZERO POWER REACTOR

  • In the heavy water zero power reactor, the neutron temperature and epithermalindex under different lattice arrangements and fine distribution of both parametersunder one of those arragements were measured with method of "pair foils" of~(176)Lu-~(164)Dy and ~(115)In-~(55)Mn. The experimental results were compared with resultsobtained with "cadmium radio method". The agreement between them is satisfac-tory. The thermal column of swimming pool reactor is used as thermal neutronstandard field.
