This paper reports a wet--processing technique for the preparation of nuclear--pure thorium tetrafluoride. Tens of kilograms of pure ThF_4 were produced by theabove process. Results show that nuclear--pure ThF_4 can be prepared by control-ling the flow ratio of HF/Th and selecting suitable temperature and stirringspeed.
