  • A new method for direct background subtraction in Ge(Li) gamma ray spectrais developed, and the technique is used in the SPAN SPECTRUM ANALYSISPROGRAM successfully. The integral peak technique is improved by this method.It can describe the background under simple peaks and multiplets, and can directlysubtract the background from a spectrum.
