SYNTHESIS OF TRIIODOTHYRONINE (T_3 AND γ-T_3) IMMANO-ANTIGENS

Liothyronine (T_3) and 3, 3', 5'-triiodothyronine (γ-T_3) are esterificated toform Liothyronine methylester and 3, 3', 5'-triiodothyronine methylester. ThenT_3-methylester and γ-T_3-methylester are separately conjugated with bovine serumalbumin. The conjugates and highly specific antibodies for T_3 and γ-T_3 areobtained. These two antibodies have been used in the preparation of RIA kit forseveral years.
