  • A set of methods to monitor the α(β) radioactivity is developed by using thesemiconductor detector. The accumulation coefficient in the coniferous pine isdetermined and is compared with those of some typical plants. The advantages ofusing the coniferous pine as a biological indicator in monitoring the radioactivepollution are studied and proved in this paper as well.
