AN ABSORPTION EXPERIMENT OF BROAD γ-RAY WITH ENERGY OF 60 keV FENG ZHENGYONG XIAO CHENGUO LI YINHUA

  • The results of absorption experiment of broad γ-ray with energy of 60 keVare reported and it is pointed out that the attenuation of the broad γ-ray passingthrough a medium obeys the exponential rule. The equivalent absorption coefficientis interrelated with the geometrical arrangement of the experiment, but not, withthe thickness of the medium.
