A STUDY OF THE EXTRACTION OF Gd WITH N, N -DIHEXYL DIETHYL CARBAMYL METHYLENE PHOSPHONATE(DHDECMP)

  • In this paper factors influencing the extraction of Gd with DHDECMP inHNO_3 medium is studied. The composition of the complex extracted is found tobe Gd(NO_3)_3. 3DHDECMP and the heat of extraction is found to be △H=-22.1kJ/mol. The optimum conditions for extraction are reported.
