  • In this experiment, the Rutherford backscattering of He~+ ions is used todetermine the stopping cross sections of NaF (354 keV--2 MeV) and NaCl(515 keV--2 MeV). The result shows that Bragg rule is applicable to NaF andNaCl in the exprimental energy ranges.
