  • In this paper the construction of charge-diivsion type positon-sensitive single-wire proportional counter (SWPC) is reported. The study of the position integralnon-linearity and the position resolution of SWPC are also described. Under thefollowing conditions: (a) norinal incidence, (b) 30% CH_4+Ar working-gas, and(c) ~(55)Fe X-rays radioactive source, the position resolution (FWHM) is 0.66 mm,and the position integral non-linearity reaches 0.08%.
