SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF CARBONYL COMPOUNDS AS γ-RADIATION DEGRADATION PRODUCTS IN THE EXTRACTION SYSTEM OF TBP-KEROSENE-HNO_3-UO_2(NO_3)_2

  • The paper reports a method for determinating trace quantities of carbonyl compounds using spectrophotometry in the extraction system of TBP-keroseneHNO_3-UO_2(NO_3)_2, and investigates the effects of radiation dose, acidity of nitric'acid and the concentration of uranium in the aqueous phase, and radiationtemperature on the produce of carbonyl compounds.
