THE MONTE CARLO CALCULATION OF THE ENERGY SPECTRA AND ANGULAR DISTRIBUTION IN THE RADIATION FIELD CAUSED BY PTB ~(90)Sr-~(90)Y β STANDARD SOURCE

  • The paper describes the Monte Carlo simulation of the electron transport onthe VAX-11/785 computer, it gives the energy spectra and the angular distributionin the radiation field caused by the PTB ~(90)Sr-~(90)Y β standard source. Thecalculated absorbed dose rates in air at given points are in agreement with experi-mental values.
