  • In order to provide references concerning operational safety experiences offoreign nuclear power plants, a minicomputerized abnormal event data bank(MAEDB) is established on a IBM-PC-XT. At present, the bank contains 1818abnormal events. Its retrieval software is prepared in dBASE-III. The MAEDBis flexible, practical and easy to operate. The retrieval of events can be performedon 30 items individually, or on any meaningful combination of them.
