PREPARATION OF ~(125)I-OESTRADIOL-6-OXIME-IODOHISTAMINE

  • Using oestradiol-17β as a starting material, oestradiol-6-oxime-histamine and~(125)I-oestradiol-6-oxime-iodohis tamine are synthetized. ~(125)I-oestradiol-6-oxime-iodohistamine purified by thin layer chromatography (T.L.C)plate, at a specificactivity of about 74 MBq/μg determined by selfdisplacement method, shows a highstability and a fine immunoreactivity tested by excess antibody binding. Suggestingits suitability as tracer for radioimmunoassay (RIA).
