Abstract
The paper reports a self-absorption correction function used for cylindricalsamples with different density in the Gamma-ray spectrum analysis. The effectsof the Gamma-ray energy and sample density on the self-absorption are unitized inthe function model, and so a shortcut for detection efficiency calibration in theGamma-ray spectrum analysis is found.
