DETERMINATION OF n,γ DOSE EQUIVALENT RATE AROUND THE BUILDING OF HWRR

  • The dose equivalent rate distribution of n, γ radiation around the building ofHWRR is measured. During the reactor operating at 13 MW, the average neutrondose equivalent rate on the road around the building amount to 5.2 nSv.h~(-1), it isabout 1. 6 times larger than natural neutron background; the mean (except fromlocal points on west road) γ dose equivalent rate is equal to 124 nSv.h~(-1), it isabout 1.3 times as large as γ background. The reason of higher γ dose rate on west road is analysised.
