EXCLUSIVE MEASUREMENT OF A QUARTERNARY FRAGMENTATION EVENT OF A 60 A GeV OXYGEN NUCLEUS IN NUCLEAR EMULSION

  • A quarternary fragmentation event of a 60 AGeV oxygen nucleus is found innuclear emulsion and measured exclusively. The mechanism of fragmentation isdiscussed. The quarternary fragmentation phenomenon provides a strong experimental evidence for the cluster model of oxygen nucleus.
