OPTIMUM DESIGNING OF BARS ARRANGEMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF RADIATION FIELD FOR A STRONG ~(60)Co IRRADIATOR

  • A desirable arrangement of single specific activity source bars of double platefor optimum field distribution of strong ~(60)Co irradiator is proposed. Two parame-ters, non-uniformity of radiation field and non-uniformity of total accumulationexposure rate, are suggested as the design criteria. The distribution curves ofconstant exposure rate are given in the paper.
