THE EFFICIENCY OF PARTICLE TELESCOPE FOR DETECTING ROTATING SOURCE WITH SHORT LIFE

  • The detection efficiency of helium-jet system with rotating disc and particletelescope is calculated. With inputing experimental data and analogue parametersthe experimental cross-section, half-life and particle branching ratio as well asother parameters can be obtained. The results agree reasonably with theoreticpredictions. The calculation is suitable particularly for searching nuclides withshort life far from beta stability.
