  • The design and test of the ion optical system for 3×10~(12) n/s intense neutrongenerator are introduced. The effect of space charge forces is taken into accountin the design. Some measures, for example space charge lens, are taken in order toensure the high beam transport efficiency. The data of beam transport efficiencyand density distribution across the intense beam are given.
