  • Coupling between resonant cavity and R.F. generator is an important subjectifor R.F. accelerators. The method given in the paper for calculating optimumcoupling conditions based on numerical solution of electromagnetic field in resonantcavity is applicable to any axially symmetric cavity in principle. It is suitable toboth beam-loaded and no beam-loaded conditions. Calculation results obtainedthrough this method coincide well with measured data.
