A high energy γ source with energies 0.5~9 MeV is introduced. It is made ofnatural nickel, paraffin and Am-Be neutron source. This kind of γ source couldbe used as γ energy and energy resolution calibration for γ detectors such ashigh purity germanium, NaI(Tl) and BGO et al.
