Abstract
Experimental phenomena of the anomalous nuclear effects in deuterium/solidsystems give us some hints that these effects may be related with the microstruc-tures in the materials. Based on these facts the study of the deuterium/ultra--finemetallic particles systems is proposed. It is known that (1) the average distancesbetween atoms in nanometer materials are smaller than the bulk solids, and (2)the surface volume ratio of nanometer materials are large. and the efficiencies ofdeuterium absorption are higher than the bulk solids. Probably the deuterium/ultra--fine metallic particles systems are more efficient for the anomalous nucleareffects. If there are nuclear effects in such system, then it is guessed that acontinuous feeding of fresh fine particles to the deuterium gas may enable usto get a continuous and controllable effects.
