THE APPLICABILITY FOR DETERMINATION OF URANIUM CONTENT BY USE OF THE CHEMICAL PURE VOSO_4 IN THE FERROUS SULFATE REDUCTION/POTASSIUM DICHROMATE TITRIMETRIC METHOD

  • The paper describes the applicability for determination of uranium content with the use of the chemical pure VOSO_4 as a catalyst in the ferrous sulfate reduction/potassium dichromate titrimatric method. The experiment results show that it is necessary to reduce some oxidants in the chemical pure reagent VOSO_4 with Fe~(+2). A method for preparing the catalyst solution using the chemical pure reagent VOSO_4 is presented and its applicability for accurate determination of uranium content was checked experimentally.
