DETERMINATION OF SULPHATE IN HIGH-LEVEL LIQUID WASTE (HLLW) BY ION CHROMATOGRAPHY(IC)

  • The ion chromatography method is established for determination of sulphate in HLLW. By selecting optimum chromatography condition the nitrate whose concetration is a thounsand times of sulphate does not interfere with determination of sulphate. In determining μg/ml sulphate the precision is 3%. Low detectable limit is 0.1 μg/ml. It takes about 15 min for finishing the procedure. The results given by If are in agreement with data of ion selective electrode within range of error.
