ACHROMATIC AND ISOCHRONOUS CONDITIONS FOR FEL BEAM TRANSPORT SYSTEM

  • Some special requirements for the free electron laser (FEL) beam transport system are discussed inthe paper. The necessary and sufficient conditions of the achromaticity and isochronicity are also de-rived for the optical design of beam transport line for FEL experiments.
