DETERMINATION OF ENERGY OF ELECTRON BEAM GENERATED BY ELECTROSTATIC ACCELERATOR BY USING MEASUREMENTS OF ATTENUATION

  • The transmission ionization chambers with thin and parallel plates are developed. It is measured with these chambers that the transmitted distribution of electron beam generated by electrostatic accelerator. The ranges of electron beam in aluminium at various accelerating voltages are extrapolated from distribution curves. The energies of electron beam are calculated.
