  • Absolute activation reaction rates in two beryllium systems are measured and compared using four kinds of activation foils with different energy thersholds. Thicknesses of beryllium shells are 5.3 and 8.4 cm, respectively. The foils are In, Zn, Al and Cu. The experimental error is about 5 %~7 %. The experimental results are analyzed and compared with the calculation ones, and the deviation between them is less than 7 %.
