  • The sputtering performance of materials induced by fast neutrons is of vital importance to the selection of the materials for fission and fusion reactors. Based on the experimental data of fast neutrons sputtering yields obtained from (n,2n),(n,α),(n,p) and (n,np) reactions and combined the results of theoretical calculation, a revised theoretical calculating formula is deduced with which one can calculate the reduced sputtering yields for four reactions.
