Abstract
An automatic data processing system for reactor neutron activation analysis is designed for personal computer in DOS environment. The system has functions of radionuclide identification, f and α calculation, K 0 value measurement, quantitative calculation of elemental concentrations, nuclides' data management and experiment design, etc. The analytical methods used in this system include absolute method, relative method and K 0 method. Using this system, three gamma ray spectra for NAA of Au, Zr samples and rock standard reference material(GBW07107)are analyzed. The f and α values at the irradiation site in the miniature neutron source reactor of China Institute of Atomic Energy are calculated. The analysis results are in agreement with the standard results in the scope of uncertainties.
