Effect of Ion Implantation and α Particle Irradiation on the Thermoluminescence of Aluminum Oxide

  • Comparison of the effect between Ni ion implantation and alpha particle irradiation in aluminum oxide is studied by using thermoluminescence. The experimental results show that the major role of alpha particle is ion displacement in the aluminum oxide crystal.
