  • The structure and feature of the traditional fault diagnosis and alarm system for the use of nuclear power plant (NPP), and some defects of this system are analyzed briefly.The developments and applications of current fault diagnosis systems in NPP, such as expert systems of knowledge based, and fault tree based, as well as diagnosis system of neural network based, are described.
