Numerical Calculation of Burst Characteristics for Fast Burst Reactor

  • A code of full functions in the theoretical design and calculation for the fast burst reactor is developed by coupling the neutron transport equation, thermoelastic equation and reactor kinetics equation. The terms for the effects of the neutrons reflected back from outside the reactor are added as extra delayed neutron terms to the reactor kinetics equation. The calculated results are quite in agreement with the experimental results.
