Theoretical and Experimental Investigation on Simultaneous Acceleration of Negative and Positive Ions With Equal q/M in a RFQ Accelerator

  • The theory of simultaneous accelerating negative and positive ions with equal q/M in a RFQ accelerator is studied, and the experimental research for it is taken in an ISR RFQ. The results show that the ability of beam load of RFQ accelerator is raised with this method.
