  • A 188 W/ 188 Re generator with the activity of 7.40 GBq based on acid treated alumina is prepared for medical application. 188 Re can be eluted into vacuum vial with 0.9 % NaCl solution in the presence or absence of ascorbic acid. The elution yield of 188 Re is more than 70 % during a period of three months. The 188 W leakage is less than 10 -4 %. Both the radiochemical purity and radionuclide purity are more than 99 %.
