  • The research and development of the Chinese decision support system for nuclear emergency management is now under the way. The framework of the European decision support system for nuclear emergencies is taken as the platform for the development of the Chinese system. The objective of the Chinese project is to povide technical support to decision makers in the decision making of protective actions in the event of a major nuclear accident. The paper presents the organization,current status and future prospect on the Chinese effort.
