Techniques of fabricating the neutron producing targets for the direct drive implosion experiments on the Shen Guang Ⅱ(SG Ⅱ) device are described. The implosion targets and ablation targets fabricated by above techniques have been used in the direct drive of physical experiments by fundamental frequency laser on the SG Ⅱ device. And the neutron yields are about 4×10 9 and 6×10 8, respectively, which are in good agreement with the theoretical calculated results.
