  • Low density polymer foam microshells for use as cryogenic laser fusion targets have been prepared by TMPTA solution polymerization combined with emulsion. The density of foam microshell is about 50 mg/cm 3, microshell's diameter is in the range from 150 to 400 μm, and more than 95% of spherity, 2~5 μm of cell diameter, respectively.
