  • The basic structure, working principle and behavior of the control system of the elevator in 10 MW high temperature gascooled reactor (HTR10) are researched. The fivephase hybrid stepping motor and the closedloop control are adopted in the construction design of the elevator. About 20 000 fuel elements and graphite balls were transported into the reactor core by the elevator to achieve the critical loading for HTR10. 
