  • The flooding rate and pressure drop of hydrogenwater liquid phase catalyst exchange bed with various packings are discussed in 50 mm×680 mm and 20 mm×290 mm glass columns. The results show that the flooding rate with θ stainless steel packing is much higher than that with active aluminium oxide and triangle packing of stainless steel. The column's pressure drop is varied with operational conditions, and the relationship between them is correlated.
