A Computer Code for Calculating Initial Temperature Distribution of Instrumented Fuel Element for PWR in Pile Experiment

  • A computer code for calculating the temperature distribution for the instrumented fuel elements of PWR in pile experiments was compiled. The calculations of initial temperature distribution for the double deck cladding fuel element indicate that the upper safety limit of fuel linear power is 290 W/cm when the mass flow rate is 6 t/h.
