  • Guided by the graph theory, an algorithm based on database technique was deve-loped for calculating the radioactivity of daughters of a decay chain and their variation vs time. By the designed arithmetic of recursion, the pathways of the chain decay are searched and stored automatically. Meanwhile, the repeated part of the pathways are marked and recorded properly, and the decay chains can be calculated by a computer code.
