An Analytical Method to Design the PID Controller for the Power Control System of Experimental Nuclear Reactor

  • In order to make the design process for power control system of experimental nuclear reactor optimal, objective and analytical, an analytical design process which contains the model linearization, model reduction, theoretical design of PID controllers is discussed. This method is applied to the design of the power control system of an experi-mental nuclear reactor, the numerical simulation results prove that the design process is practical, and the control performance is satisfactory.
