  • The preliminary experimental results for parameter diagnostics of intensepulsed ion beams from the FLASH Ⅱ accelerator were reported. The ion number of anintense pulsed ion beam were experimentally determined by monitoring delayed radio-activity from protons induced nuclear reactions in a ~(12)C target. The prompt γ-rays anddiode bremsstrahlung X--rays were measured with PIN semi--conductor detector and aST401 plastic scintillator detector. The bremsstrahlung distribution outside of the drifttube was detected with a thermoluminescent detector and the shielding design was alsodetermined. The current densities of beam were measured with biased ion collector array. The ion beams were also recorded with a CR--39 detector.
