Application of Hybrid K-edge/X-ray Fluorescence Densitometer in Purex Process

  • The application based on the hybrid K-edge/X-ray fluorescence densitometer instrument was studied. According to the requirements of Purex process, the tasks such as hardware adjustment, software improvement, and conditional experiment were accomplished. A good many samples were analysed by the densitometer. The assay result is of vital importance to accounting of nuclear materials such as U and Pu.
