  • In the vertical narrow annular channel with bilateral heating, the critical heat flux of annular upward flow was studied. A mathematical model on the base of the mass, momentum and energy conversation equations was developed. By numerically solving the (equations), the relationship between CHF and critical quality is obtained,and the influences of pressure on CHF were analyzed. The CHF obtained by the present model was compared with those from experiments.
