  • The characteristics of Beijing Radioactive Ion-Beam Facilities, a cyclotron based radioactive ion beam facility which was approved by the (Chinese) government in (July) 2003, are described briefly in this paper. The plane arrangement for various accelerators and their accessory equipment is also introduced. Then, the basic requirements of the control system for Beijing Radioactive Ion-Beam Facilities are given and the conceptual design of this control system is implemented. In order to demonstrate the feasibility of the conceptual design, a test control system was developed for the injection system of 100 MeV, H~- cyclotron.
