  • The paper describes the basic principle and equipment of 4πβ+4πγ method for activity measurement. Using this method, 166Hom VYNS film sources were measured. In the experiment, total efficiencies of 166Hom VYNS film sources all exceed 99.99% and the mean specific activity is 130.17(1±0.21%) Bq/mg, which agrees well with the international comparison result,130.10(1±0.4%) Bq/mg.
