Abstract
Monolithic Ferrite(Ⅲ) oxide aerogels were prepared from inorganic salt precursors by hydrolysis and condensation. The approach is straightforward, inexpensive, versatile and it can produce monolithic mesoporous material with high specific surface area and very low bulk density.Dried ferrite(Ⅲ) aerogel were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and nitrogen adsorption/desorption analyses. The results of XRD show that the monolithic ferrite(Ⅲ) oxide aerogel obtained is β-FeOOH.
